Traj P is a Music Producer from Leicester, UK and a long-time collaborator with Orlando band, Beer Money Unlimited. Soulful yet raw, Traj P’s melodic boombap style is an influence of 90’s hip hop, soul, contemporary jazz infused with elements from Hong Kong and Japanese cinema. In 2011, Traj P produced his first tracks; ‘Alone with You’ - a song from NY based Rishi P’s ‘Take a Look Inside’ album and ‘Amsterdam’ for their friend Shadowless. Traj P took a deeper interest in music production in 2013 after collaborating with Orlando artist, Wordchemist. They released their first singles ‘Gems’ and ‘Abstract Soul’ featuring Shinobi Stalin. In 2016, Traj P released his first project with Wordchemist, Binary Project. An 8 track EP featuring Shinobi Stalin, Nick Blaze and DJ Stranger. He later produced ‘Squadron Supreme’; a song from Shinobi Stalin’s ‘Sun of Ozone’ album that was released in 2020. The track features J Kroas, Wordchemist, Midaz the Beast and DJ Stranger. Traj P and Shinobi Stalin’s latest album, ’11 Hours to Leicester’ is a continuation of his work, bringing melodic boombap with a positive vibe. Traj P’s plans include collaborating with further international and like-minded artists.
