Biography

Youth Novels, a Polish duo composed of singer Anna Babrakowska and guitarist Emil Nowak, has been making waves on the Polish music scene. Their music ranges from haunting quasi-acoustic compositions and dreamy ambient soundscapes to widely accessible alternative tunes that hit all the right notes. The band has played at renowned Polish festivals like Open'er, OFF, Spring Break, and Męskie Granie and supported acts like Oh Wonder, Father John Misty, Seafret, and Hooverphonic. Their music has been featured in popular TV shows like Netflix's "Hold Tight" and TVN's "Pod Powierzchnią". With three highly acclaimed EPs and singles, including "What If", "Woman" with over 1.5 million streams on Spotify, a mesmerizing Skin rework produced by the talented Sam Thompson (The XX, Ellie Goulding), recorded at the renowned Air Studios, and "Hands" in collaboration with Dutch producer Ferry Corsten (FERR), the band continues to impress audiences with their creativity and artistry. Their latest EP "Blue" showcases their musical prowess, featuring the electrifying "The Moon" with Iwona Skwarek, a prominent Polish vocalist, and a captivating Blue rework by Niklas Paschburg. On February 24 the band released a new single in collaboration with Frank Wiedemann (Âme, Howling).
