heyyy, I'm an independent 24yo artist based in Prague. My musical journey began around the age of 17, heavily influenced by singer-songwriters in the folk-pop scene. I started writing songs, but I was too scared to put them online, so I released them under the artist name Trayce, usually without video content. The songs were often poorly recorded on my phone, but it made me happy. During this period, I recorded the Uncertainty EP. I’d describe my music as a music blog. I love discovering the world, meeting new people, and exploring music, which has a huge impact on my songwriting. My songs often reflect the mood, vibe, and places I’ve experienced during particular times. Eventually, I decided to dive deeper into music and changed my artist name to "Coubey," which felt more aligned with who I am. In 2021, during lockdown with Uncle COVID, I released my first debut single called "2020". After that, I took a break until I found inspiration again while living in Cyprus in 2022. I tried to capture all my memories and feelings in the Butterflies Collection album, where I collaborated with many interesting artists I met along the way. Currently, after living a year and a half in Italy, I’m working on my next album called “Rome diaries” as a collab with producer Stepan Bartos, which includes all the songs I wrote during my time there. In 2023, I performed at festivals like Votvírák and Colours of Ostrava. trayce@seznam.cz
