Keerthana Sharma was born in 1995 in Vijayawada in a Telugu family. She started her musical journey being trained by her mother in classical carnatic music. She hails from the family of Mr. Parupalli Ramakrishnnaya Pantulu, who is her great grandfather and her family is musically oriented with many other famous musicians and performers. She is the elder daughter to her parents, in her family of four with a younger sister.Her interest with film industry began while listening to songs by the great composers of Telugu musical fraternity. It was a dream come true for her when she caught the eye of Mr. Mani Sharma who is a legendary music director and also is famously known as "Melody Brahma". Under his tutelage Keerthana Sharma started singing professionally for several movie songs and considers him as her Godfather in the Telugu film industry. Due to the collaboration with Mr. Mani Sharma, she is now a sensation on YouTube with millions of views on her songs and is one of the fastest growing singers in South Indian Film Industry.She always believes the essence of a song lies in the combination of the instrumental notes and the voice of the singer.
