DJ Frest, whose real name is Atalay Daban, was born on January 16, 2000 in Muğla. Primary school in Milas, secondary school and high school life continued in Bodrum. He completed secondary school at Bitez Gülümser Mehmet Danacı Secondary School. He completed his high school at Ayşegül Sevim Ali Rüştü Kaynak Anatolian High School in Bodrum. DJ Frest, who met music in his high school years, has always been closely involved with music, and has repeatedly worked in the school choir and theater. His first important work was captured with DJ Orcun's music and clip that was share on Netd Music during his high school years. He spent his university years in Ankara. He studied Computer Programming at Ankara University in Ankara. During these years, he increased his studies and continued his success. The remix he made with DJ Orcun to the song Randall - Wahran in late 2018 reached 7 million views within a month, but was removed from the share due to a dispute with the artist. He started working as a music producer and producer teacher at OXODJ Academy in 2019 and is still working there. His remix to the song Trevor Daniel - Falling in 2020 has an instant 15 million views.
