Sugga Shay, born July 9, 1995, developed his natural skill in music while in high school as a hungry, young artist. Born and raised from the crazy streets of North Las Vegas, he was successfully able to dodge the prison system and peer pressure from gangs —which led him to make a vow to always remain true to himself, his vision and his craft. 
 Sugga Shay has been working on his lyrical art form since then and has consistently been creating music since 2010. His style is EXTREMELY versatile, creating his own lane in the rap industry — while accomplishing a positive influence on the youth in his community and as well as upcoming artist in the city. 
 His family, positive thinking and forward movement was the motivation and force behind 2022’s Chosen. “Feel like I’m chosen, feeling like Moses, parted the seas and let in the guys, ain’t no coincidence, ain’t nobody never give me shit, this is a blessing from God, know that I’m chosen right hand to God, came from the bottom — defeated the odds, I’m just a nigga who live in America, straight out of poverty trying to survive.” 
 Starting off as a singer then CHOOSING to rap instead as he felt called to, sets the tone for his overall influence and multifaceted music career. Having pushed his way through the typical hardships of a younger black man finding his way through his earlier years of life, has helped him to reach the pinnacle of his career — remaining focused on his passion, and delivering this message through his music.
