AK sees no limit to the journey his music will take him on. Hailing from Tanzania, the Southampton based rapper has been striving to hit new career heights in 2020, after a progressive 2019, dropping his debut EP tAKe2 and his debut video on GRM Daily - Right There. Immersing himself in the local music scene, he began to build a local reputation which led him to platforms such as SBTV, LinkUp TV, GRM Daily & BBC 1Xtra. In 2018 his versatile flow helped him and Wolf get play-listed on Twin B’s BBC 1Xtra show. 2019 brought the birth of his Blackbox freestyle which led to many exciting ventures going into early 2020, including his first EP - tAKe 2. In late 2019, AK was scouted for UK tv show, The Voice UK, where he gained plaudits from the likes of Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am. Moving into early 2020, AK has dropped, ‘Overload’, his first single of the year, which was playlisted by BBC Introducing and also charted within its first week of release.
