Okechukwu Mkparu Jr, known professionally as Lil Grxm, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and rapper. Born January 1, 2000, Lil Grxm’s introduction into music came at the age of 7 where he began as a guitar player and dancer. Early on, he showcased his talents in school shows and local events before discovering his voice in music in 2013. His journey started off with trap influenced records, fused with a melodic presence that created a unique and euphoric sound. He released his first 16 song mixtape in 2019 titled “How To Fly” which initiated his mark as a young prospect in the music industry. In 2023, Lil Grxm has then taken the influences of afrobeats, afropop, hip-hop, and R&B to create a new afro-fusion sound that encapsulates infectious melodies, thought provoking lyrics, and relatable emotions. Coming from humble beginnings, he is ready to claim his spot among many.
