 Ruby Spiro aka Knightly, a Southern California based singer/songwriter/producer/engineer, captivates listeners with her unpretentious demeanor, vulnerability, and unconstrained approach to music. Drawing early cues from 90’s pop, harmonies & choruses, Knightly accidentally went from ghost-writer to solo artist, featured in playlists like Spotify’s competitive “Fresh Finds” and “New Music Friday” in over 79 countries. Prior to her 6 spontaneously released singles last year Knightly had been writing for EDM producers, bands and TV shows across all genres, including World of Dance, Songland, Love Island & others. Her candid, bittersweet approach to lyrics, her technical prowess of engineering/producing her own vocals and tracks, her infectious melodies and wholistic understanding of storytelling puts her in a sound category all her own.
