Hans Carlsson grew up in the 70's glam, punk and synth era and when he got his first guitar at 10, he started writing songs and forming bands. 

In the late 80's he ended up in Stockholm after a couple of years of design studies in Paris. He made music with Fredrik Joelson and eventually the indie band Mouth was formed, signed with Warner/Telegram, SE and Reprise, the US. The early 90's, his fascination increased for electronically produced music. Inspired by the technology, spirituality, mysticism and modern club cultures. Through exploring electronic frequencies, rhythms and sounds he encountered the energy of HAb. He collaborated with Krister Linder/Tupilaq on the track Pilaque on the album Alaskanlab Sweden 1995, Audio pollution (SW). In 1997 the HAb album MaPOd was released at Dot recordings.

 Some of the later projects include 'Binger the Voyager' and the album Sweet Taste of Nothing, Oxygen Music Works (US) in 1999 with Fredrik Joelson and Kool Kojak. He made music for the Håkan Lidbo radio Ström concepts like; What we are -Music for alien civilizations, beamed from Esrange Space Center in Kiruna into Space in 2008.
