YASAI is a versatile collective of rappers, singers and producers - consisting of 8 different personalities from various backgrounds bonded together by their passion for hip-hop. They’re adamant on not pinning themselves down to a specific sub-genre to let their freedom and different individual inspirations flow into the music as much as possible. They were formed in late 2017; The members initially started as close friends but slowly discovered each others’ understated desire in making music. After their first EP and Album, they are now focused on the White Walls era: An EP trilogy. The first EP of the trilogy titled 'Strings of Another' expresses their emotions of feeling tied down and controlled by people around them. The group is honest and personal on this EP, hoping to relate to people who have similar feelings or experienced events. The standout single from this EP, ‘Lost’ has garnered a notable 150k streams already. Now, the boys have broken free in their latest release "White Walls: Bound by Nothing' - seeing the group experiment and dabble into different sounds and styles to show that they are limitless.
