Loockey is a project of an independent producer Luka Miladinovic Hugo, focused on tranquil, hip-hop instrumentals. The gentle pace of creators' material, accompanied by non-invasive rhythmic section, and emphasized atmospheric elements reflect producer's intention to provide a relaxing and calming vibe to the tracks. Hugo colors songs with soothing, sometimes jazzy, melodies and lush tones to translate the sensations of peacefulness and serenity through his work. From 2010, Hugo is actively involved in music production. He has collaborated with various, mostly hip-hop, artists; mixed, and mastered a sizable number of tracks; worked as a host of a TV show promoting underground hip-hop; and composed a score for an independent movie Grace (2017). Besides his music career, Hugo obtained a PhD in Economic History. In 2019, Loockey was born with a debut album A.T.O.M.I.Z.E.D. This compilation of eight interrelated tracks is characterized by seemingly contradicting motifs. Namely, Hugo combines comforting tunes with monologues concerning mental health issues. The first album was followed by a couple of singles: a moment with you, hold my hand, i didn't forget, make a wish, behind the clouds, hug me, I'm scared etc. as well as several collaborations with lost.mindd, lazyboyloops, Harrisyn Hartt, Stux.Io, and many others. Hugo's goal is to constantly improve the music he makes, as well as to show that he is not too old to pursue the dream of making a viable music career.
