Jorge Luis “Twin” known to most fans as George Anthony was born in New York City and raised in Manhattan’s Chelsea Projects. The area was home to some of the hottest freestyle clubs in N.Y.C., (Heartthrobs, Funhouse, 1018, The Tunnel and the infamous skating rink Roxy’s just to name a few). George’s passion for music was initiated in 7th grade when his music teacher Ms. Martha Gonzalez played the piano and performed a song called “Finally” by Gary Chapman, it was in that very moment that he fell in love with music and his desire for singing was birthed. 1
