Raised in The Bronx from the birthplace of Hip-Hop on Sedgwick Ave. Donson The Wise has been developing his witty rap style since the early 2000s. Inspired by artists such as DMX, Styles P, Nas, Big Pun, Jay-Z and Canibus, Donson a.k.a "The Psych Gawd" has a unique vocal delivery, his words and vocal tone paint street imagery over gritty and soulful beats. Influenced by the pioneers of psychedelic culture like Terrence McKenna, and Timothy Leary, his rhymes connect with the streets while still providing an over tone of psychedelic glue. Most recently Donson released his third album titled "Sword of the Nine" produced by Thanos Beats. His songs have been played on Shade45 radio by DJ Premier and DJ Eclipse and other streaming radio stations. Donson The Wise is a member of ValidGang Ent and has collaborated with many artists and producers from all over the world.
