Born in Lubbock, Texas, D. Rashaan began writing music at 14 years old. Heavily Influenced by the likes of super producer Timbaland along with his "Basement Crew" (Magoo, Missy Elliot, Aaliyah, Ginuwine) and his busy percussion based patterns and innovative sounds, D. Rashaan was introduced to a very unique and colorful world outside of standard Texas based styles. 
 Now as the founding member of the Indigo Experience movement, D. Rashaan continues to strive and push the envelope further by introducing colorful vibes into a sonically plush world of witty bars, substance, and flavor while staying true to the era which birthed him. He is indeed an 80s baby. Influenced by the groove. Moved by the smoothness of the 90s. A true southern gentleman groomed by the nuances of today who is ready to feed the ears of his fellow Indigo Souls. #IndXp
