As a Youngstown, Ohio native KeilyN grew up hip-hop. The culture. The lifestyle. He learned early that it wasn’t just about music. But it’s music that moves people. While he learned the fashion and slang of the culture through his cousins and step dad, he also spent hours listening to their music collections. As KeilyN grew and the mediums evolved, he was locked into Rap City, Smack DVD's and building his own personal music collection through Limewire and wherever else he could find music. 
 While his taste in music was being refined, his high school English teacher recognized a gift: writing. This gift was cultivated into KeilyN starting to write rhymes in his spare time between school and basketball. After losing interest in playing ball and not being greatest schloar to begin with, KeilyN turned making music from a past time to a passion. 
 KeilyN started to seriously pursue music while enrolled in college. Doing open mics, performing at local bars and wherever else he could showcase his talent. Spending more time writing songs instead of writing papers, eventually led to KeilyN’s GPA dropping. And so it was written. Despite several semesters in the books and the disapproval of many, it was time to turn his attention to music full time. KeilyN’s career has taken him from his hometown of Youngstown, OH to Los Angeles, CA.
