Godson! has been a student of the rap game all of his life. Sharing the stage back in the early 2000’s with artists such as 50 Cent and Fat Joe has given Godson! the exposure and experience necessary to succeed in the music industry. However, in 2011, when he dedicated his life to Christ, he decided that he would no longer pursue music and turn his attention to learning new skills and other endeavors. In early 2023, Godson! was stricken with the conviction to return to rapping. As he wrestled with God over this conviction, he knew that it’s what God wanted so he obeyed. Through prayer and meditation, Godson! began to write and create once again, but this time it was to glorify the Lord.
