Sayak B is a music producer from Kolkata, India with a musical range spanning genres from Indian/Western Classical to Hip-hop and Riddim. Starting his musical journey at age 4, he learnt to play the Sitar, Tabla and Piano and at age 17, started producing EDM and found a niche community with Bios Contrast and Saint Ctrl, and later collaborated with AnxSion and ANIL3X. Sayak went on to find his signature style with hard-hitting bangers combined with melodic elements, and later started working as the manager of wings.szn (Wingsflyhigh), a new-wave hip-hop collective from Kolkata, and helped other artists find their sound with his initiative DopplerTown Records. Sayak's tracks have been performed at multiple venues around India, building up a following for bringing fresh sounds and his genre-bending production range to the table, with two songs (including Jodi) premiering live alongside Epr Iyer at a Kount Me In: Showdown event hosted by Ray3urn. Sayak's tracks like Water and Unholy Raja have amassed hundreds of listeners across all platforms, with Water charting at #28 and #48 in the iTunes Electronic category in Costa Rica and Russia respectively, and was played on Hit Radio Maroc (Morocco), BBC Radio Kent (UK), Radio Cooperativa (Chile) and FM4 (Austria). Sayak has also worked with artists such as Marc Lawrence, Unfollowed Ones, DDXVIL, Prixarr, bsrwashere, Archxr, Graveyard Society, D'virus, and Wvlk.
