I am celebrating my 30th anniversary as a songwriter with my last solo release, a 30-song trilogy called Greenwood. Greenwood Vol. 1 is inspired by my first decade in music and I'm currently releasing songs from this collection every Thursday. Greenwood Vol. 2 pays tribute to my hometown of NYC and the 70s music that shaped me as a songwriter. On several of these tunes, I tried to write in the style of my heroes as a way of saying thanks. Queen, Petty, Bowie–too many to list here. Greenwood Vol. 3 is slow and quiet, very much a reflection of my life these days. Van Morrison, Michael Kiwanuka and Jackson Browne are big influences in this collection. I recorded the songs at home to give the feeling of a friend playing in your living room. I've done some cool things - opened for Kiss, sang on TV, appeared in a video game, played Lollapalooza - but what I am most proud of is being a songwriter for 30 years. I've done the best I can and hope you enjoy these songs. Greenwood is nice closure for a good run. Thank you so much for listening!
