Biography

"Shani Inbar is one of the most promising talents in the world of the classical guitar" Franz Halasz. Shani Inbar started her studies of classical guitar at the age of 10 with Mr. Uri Braha at the Givataim conservatory. Still in school, she played as soloist with the Givataim strings orchestra, as well as with the symphonic orchestra of Thelma Yallin high school for the arts. In 2002 she received a scholarship from the America Israel cultural foundation. She participated in Master classes of great artists such as David Russell, Joaquin Clerch, Zoran Dukic, Alvaro Pierri and more. Ms. Inbar moved to Augsburg (Bavaria, Germany)in 2003 , to study with Prof. Franz Halász at the Music Academy Augsburg- Nürnberg. In addition she also studied Historical Performance with Mr. Eduardo Egüez. In July 2007 she received her Diploma with the highest honors and continued her studies for a Master degree in Performance. At the end of 2007 Shani became the assistant of Prof. Halász. Shani Inbar has performed and taught master classes in Spain, Germany, Israel Greece Japan and more . She performed both, as soloist and in Chamber Music groups. She won numerous awards in national and international prestigious competitions, among them: 1st prize at the "Concurso internacional de guitarra dento del IV encuentro de guitarra clasica Norba Caesarina 2008” The Samuel – Pierre Tarcali prize for guitar in the "Aviv competition" 2007
