Syndee Winters, who is best known for her role as "Nala" in the Lion King began her career as a songwriter whose skills led to collaborating with Legendary Grandmaster Flash penning 2 songs on his album, "The Bridge". Then one day, somehow her skill set became what Broadway was looking for". Pulling from the musical influence of, Lena Horne, Erykah Badu, Missy Elliot,and Janet Jackson Syndee also starred in shows like Motown: The Musical,Hamilton, and Jesus Christ Superstar Live! on NBC with John Legend. While spending the better part of a decade in Musical Theatre, Syndee Winters continued to release music. She won an international radio award in Poland for "On My Own", under alias, Kaptur Royale with the late Dj/Producer MBrother. Her talents have taken her all over the world performing for Oprah Winfrey, President Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Sir Richard Branson.
