Passionate about good music since she was 5 years old, she learned that singing and playing was an indispensable experience of pleasure. Considered “the Brazilian Ella Fitzgerald” (François Loup, Maryland University) and “one of the women who make jazz great” (José Domingos Raffaelli, Jornal O Globo), artist with a unique style, singer, flutist, pianist, composer and arranger, performs with the same ease in Brazilian jazz, popular and concert music. Master in Music, he worked for 19 years as a singer in the Choir and soloist at Theatro Municipal do RJ, as a pianist and flutist in countless shows and recordings in radio and TV studios with great MPB artists such as Roberto Menescal, Toquinho, Sivuca, Zeca Pagodinho, Paulinho da Viola, Elizeth Cardoso, Alaíde Costa, Ademilde Fonseca, Rosinha de Valença, Elba Ramalho among others. He took Brazilian music to Paris, Lyon, Rome, Berlin and Hilden (Hildennerjazztag Festival), in prestigious venues such as Péristyle de l’Opéra de Lyon, Radiofréquence Jazz, broadcast on TV France 3 and Conservatoire National de Région de Lyon. In 2019, he presented his singles with great success in concerts at Casa de Música (Porto) and Cascais Jazz Club, in Portugal, as well as in Rio de Janeiro at Sala Baden Powell and at Centro de Referência da Música Carioca. In 2023, he released his fifth album “Mulher Brasileira”, a compilation of singles released between 2019 and 2023, with the Eliane Salek Trio (Rômulo Gomes - bass and Fabiano Salek - drums).
