Eiríkur Hauksson, born July 4, 1959, Reykjavik, Is an Icelandic heavy metal vocalist. He represented Iceland in Eurovision '86 & '07. Eiríkur's career began when "Sekur," a song he wrote and performed with Start, won Icelandic Song of the Year in '81. In '84, his metal band Drýsill released "Welcome to the Show." Eiríkur recorded hits like "Gaggó Vest" and "Gull" in '85. He moved to Norway in '88, joining Artch as Eric Hawk, releasing acclaimed albums. Eiríkur sang for "Just 4 Fun" in Eurovision '91. He's a Eurovision specialist since '04. In '07, Eiríkur represented Iceland with "Valentine Lost." In 2023, he collaborates with Lasse Lazz Jensen on a solo album.
