KESMAR is the project of Australia based songwriter and producer Nathan Hawes. Finding inspiration from artists in his parents record collection Hawes has always been drawn to the sounds of the 60’s to the late 70’s. Picking up from his last Ep ‘Forever Holiday’ that featured the likes of Flore Benguigui L'Impératrice Nathan found himself writing and producing alone, only using the necessary tools to craft his debut album ‘Always Chasing Rainbows’. A self produced, performed, engineered and mixed record. A new found confidence gave Hawes the ability to make the record at home by himself, whilst learning how to plug in the sixteen track tape recorder and mixing console he leant into his exciting new venture resulting in a collection of eight honest songs.
