Singer and songwriter born July 26th 1967. Jakob started playing drums age 10. His family moved to New Jersey in 1980 he attended school and while studying he played drums with his best school buddy. When he returned to Denmark he picked up the guitar, keyboards and started writing songs. In 1980 to 1995 he wrote 200+ songs and co-founded several bands as frontman, lead singer of bands like Lawyers In Love, The Chesterfields, Cutlar & Gross and Spirits. The band Spirits recorded and released their debut album "Kachina" in 1993. After touring for several years Jakob Deichmann decided to start his solo career and released his debut album "Superflyer" in 1995 produced by the legendary American producer Billy Cross former guitarist for Bob Dylan. "Superflyer" was digitally re-released July 26th 2019 including 2 new songs. Jakob Deichmann retired his active artist career in 1996, but still writes songs and produces new artists. Jakob Deichmann & Spirits are releasing a new album “Trick Or Treat” July 29th 2022. 9 songs recorded in 1994 but was never released. With the help of producer Alex Petersen from GrapeHouse Studios made mix & mastering and the new guest stars recordings made during 2021 / 2022 which includes his son Walther Patrick Deichmann playing guitar and close friends Victor K on keys and Billy Cross adding guitars, backing vocals and his daugther Victoria painted the album cover. Morten Deichmann made the album tracklist and Lynx and Victor K the remixes.
