Small-town Seward, Nebraska, where Core The Kidd, born Carson Core, was brought up, has no storied history in producing new rap talent. Since the age of 17, Core The Kidd has been writing, rapping, mixing, and mastering his own songs. Not until the age of 18 did he release any of his songs on any major platforms. Core The Kidd is a full-time college student pursuing his dream of creating music for the world to hear. 
 Among other Gen-Z artists in the Midwest, he hopes his music will take hold in the Midwest and other parts of the United States. Core The Kidd is close friends with another Nebraska-based artist, ReeceFo. They are a part of a multi-genre, new-age, music group known as Delarosa, also based out of Nebraska.
