MatterFalls started producing lofi music in March of 2020 at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. After releasing his second song under Kindbrew Records, with several singles released before then, he started university. In March of 2021 he then release the simpler times EP that marked a shift in his music writing and production. That brings him to where he is today: a busy engineering student trying to find his passion to make lofi music again. "Most every night I like sit in my dorm room, stare at the stars through my window, and play my guitar. I'm searching for my passion to create music, again."
