Blind Observatory is a DJ, music producer, designer and visual artist who's body of work is orbiting around topics of science-futurism, cyberpunk and astronomy. Conceived as a philosophy of treating dance floors as the "observatory for the blind", the name stays a constant reminder and loose set of rules for David when investigating both, the infinite freedom and loneliness found in the universe. This unique approach and a deep understanding of a night's flow make him a true master of riding the thin line between melancholy and euphoria, earning him the reputation of a DJ's DJ. David's sets are best described as cinematic journeys into the unknown. Blind Observatory’s productions reflect this mentality. Delicate and timeless pieces for “those moments" when time and space dissolve and clubs turn into space ships. Carefully crafted slices of atmosphere with depth and that "somewhere out there" vibe. Since 2016 he is running the small label "Gravitational", not only as an outlet for his own music but a hub for like-minded artists and a platform for his work as a designer and visual artist aiming to convey ideas and feelings rather than aesthetics or in David's words: "What drives me is curiosity and an everlasting itch for all things remote. I just want to know.”
