Em-Cee also known as Miss Cherokee is a London, UK, based R&B singer, songwriter & producer who has recorded, written, produced &/or performed with a variety of artists including Kylie Minogue, Jessie J, Gary Barlow, Laura Mvula, Incognito, Caron Wheeler, (Soul II Soul) Robin Gibb, (The Bee Gees) Basement Jaxx, Craig David, Charlie Wilson, (The Gap Band) Angie Stone, & Raymond & Co. Her current album, underground smash ‘Honey Coated HipHop’; released October 2021 has received rave reviews across Urban internet radio & includes the highly acclaimed ‘Melody’, featured on Jazz Fm. This Hip-Hop Soul album includes features from US #1 rapper Tracey Lee, Production from UK R&B Producer & Remixer, Linslee Campbell & Em-Cee herself. Her 1st album; self produced 'To The Streets' on Quartz Records was released under the name Miss Cherokee in 2000. In 2001, she began releasing material under the alias Em-Cee in line with a new label & rebranding. These releases include: 'Better Days', 'Don't Come Around’, 'Another Chick' & the Limited Edition gold vinyl 'Superstar' EP; all released on Mo'Vintage Records. She also released the single 'Ready For Your Love' on London label Urban Star, spawning features on several compilation albums including 'London Soul' & 'Urban Culture'. She later released 2 concept mixtapes titled 'Em-Cee Vs The Em-Cee's' hosted by Tracey Lee & DJ Boogie Blind & 'Em-Cee Loves The 80's' hosted by London's BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra DJ Trevor Nelson.
