The raw, unprovoked emotion that resides in most of Dee Reed's music is paralleled only by the tongue twisting, mind bending illusiveness conveyed by his prolific lyricism, all mashing together to create an unorthodox 360 degree style galavanting all over his own personal mix of the hip hop genre. Having started dabbling in the world of music at the age of 14, after his best friend Ezkial Reed Crapo (aka Yung Blud) passed away in a tragic highway accident, Dee (David Campbell Reed II) has been making strides in his musical and lyrical proficiency. After having attended BRC Audio Productions for trade school in music production, composition, and engineering, Dee found within himself the motivation to create a musical archetype that would change the hip hop world. This delicate encroachment on the border of insanity or genius came from late night psychadelic binges, inspiration from the greatest in hip hop and music history, as well as the idea and belief that anyone can achieve anything they want through hard work and dedication. Music is for the people, never for the artist. This philosophy has carried Dee Reed through years of silence and preparation, and now to your ear drums.
