Based out of Vancouver British Columbia, Japanese Canadian Kanta Ikeda started music with a goal to compose a style that is progressive yet relevant in popular culture today. Focusing his sound on detailed percussions, organic synthesis, and a variety of structural styles, the search of a nongeneric composition. Finding influences almost everywhere, Ikeda mainly draws influences from Electronic, Hip Hop and R&B genres, while composing a sound with ethereal soundscapes and drum breaks. Having collaborations with local artists Bbno$, Bito, and Una Mey, Someone Someone continues to create a unique energy with each project.
