Afaun is a French multi-instrumentalist duo. The duo uses digital composition tools as well as played instruments such as guitars, keyboards and percussions. GaetDown and his collaborative partner Will try to experiment by drawing on various sources of inspiration to create original flavours mixing electronic and acoustic elements in their productions. Afaun's first singles "Zhèli" and "Percussive Frequencies" were out in February and March 2023 thanks to Maiden's Tower Records. These two tracks offered a unique ethnic electro touch crafted by Will and GaetDown. Just a few months later Afaun was thrilled to annonce the release of two new tracks. Secrets Away and Floating Tree! Those two Lofi tunes were released thanks to the label Palm UFO Selecta. A new, very relaxing track, Garden Groove, was released with Sonder House the same year. A last track before the start of 2024 was released : “Mah”, electro ethnic production made with Ersin Ersavas. We're delighted to announce that a brand new piece of electronic music produced with John Hayes on the label Nettwerk is now out!
