Tha Ruffneckz were a Rap Group created by Tha Chief around 1994 which consisted of His Brother Slomode & Syntz from Hurstville. Tha Chief & Slomode grew up in the Eastern Suburbs Public Housing & watched Sound Unlimited Posse rise up from their Hood.. Tha Chief always messed with music production & played guitar. The Love for Rap music came as a Teen listening to Ice-T, LL Cool J, The Beastie Boys, Run DMC, 2Pac & much more. One day Vince Traverza (R.I.P) who tagged EVEN introduced Chief to Raul The Sleeping Monk. At Oxford Street there was Phatt Wax store with DJ Blaze, Knoble Savages & many Hip Hop heads Freestyling so Tha Chief learnt & one day Tha CHief & Monk created a Group called Saboutage. Monk introduced Chief to DJ Vame & learnt about sampling and Rap tracks. Once Chief & Monk had a Fallout, Vame & Chief started making Tracks for THa Ruffneckz.. We opened for CDB & Toured all around until Hiatus.
