Marty Venus is a British guitarist hailing from Watford, Hertfordshire. Having first picked up a guitar at the tender age of six and joining his first band at eleven, he is most notably known his role in hard rock band The Wicked Jackals (formerly Guns Of Anarchy) from 2013 to 2021. Marty released his first solo album "You Destroy You", on October 7th 2022 and has performed with his band. He also is an active session guitarist work and tutoring guitar and bass. Having honed his skills playing with various bands and on several projects, he has shared the stage with the likes of Warrior Soul, Chris Holmes (ex-W.A.S.P), Jizzy Pearl (Love/Hate), Guns 2 Roses, Meansteed, Damn Dice, New Device, Beth Blade, Bulletproof Rose, Collateral, StopStop!, Tequila Mockingbyrd and many more. With a distinctive look and energetic style, his charisma and passion shine through in his playing technique, which includes utilising a wireless set-up to take the show from the stage to all around the venue, whether it be among the audience, on a fan's shoulders or atop the bar!
