Roodnoot is the brainchild of Bob Barlag which originated in the warm summer of 2018 as a hommage to the eponymous arts-farm just outside of the city. He resided there that summer for a few months and the freedom and openness of the location inspired him to write a collection of songs. The self-titled: Roodnoot EP was released at the end of 2019. Shortly after the sold-out release show, Roodnoot was the support act for the Singer-Songwriter Helge. His new single Trains is out now, and lots of new music is coming in 2023.
