Dear listener, music is my philosophy, my teacher, showing me how to respond delicately when there’s unkindness, how to ride a dragon when there’s a need to fight for what I believe in. It is a world which speaks to me if I’m quiet enough to listen, and it always transcends my thoughts. My album released earlier this year „Sleep, beautiful sleep“ an ode to the dream world, is a collection of recent pieces for piano and contemplative sounds on synths and also a piece for saxophone and Quartz bowls. These bowls and their frequencies affect your heart, and bring a powerful resonance. I have always listened deeply to melodies that spring from different pianos, and I have had the privilege of playing many different instruments. Each one has its own story to tell. The dragon has recently taken refuge in my piano, and is telling me many things. These pieces are surprisingly delicate, simple and positive, which is in contrast to my compositions in complex counterpoint and polyphony (Little Things Grow II) that you can also hear on the album. „Illuminations“ (70’) for choir and chamber ensemble, premiered in Imago Dei Festival (2022), Krems, Austria will be released September 17. This is an exciting release supported by numerous artistic and competitive funds in Austria.
