Pariss Elektra is a singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from London. She studied Jazz and popular music at Leeds College of music. Pariss has a background in performing arts as she went to Stagecoach as a child and adolescence. Now based in Leeds Pariss is constantly performing around West Yorkshire solo, in duo's and full bands. Pariss is mostly know for her performance style truly setting the stage alight with her ever-glowing presence. Her early influences are mainly Prince, Grace Jones and Lenny Kravitz, being her idols growing up and still to this day, showing great respect for the longevity and consistency of these musician's and likening to Prince's energy. Pariss is a force of nature when singing and especially whilst playing percussion instruments. Recently she has a residency at the stylish, not-so-secret club called The Domino in Leeds, singing lead vocals, playing guitar and percussion in The Sugar Rays Experience on a Saturday night every fortnight. She is also one of the lead singers in a group called “New position”, a product of the members joint love for J-Dilla and Prince.
