In February 25, 1985 American rapper and songwriter Joey Lorenzo James AKA (Mr. Mac Murda) was born to Josey James and Anthony Lee Owens in Columbia SC. Mr Mac Murda fell in love with music when he was young. He was in the youth choir where he sang the lead singer on the Youth Choir. Mr. Mac Murda fell in love with rap music back in the 90's his influences were the likes of UGK,8Ball and MJG, 36 Mafia ,No Limit, Cash Money, and several others. Mr. Mac Murda's first album was SwaGGer Music under Feel Me or Not Productions. He left the rap scene for a brief time to be a father to his son, but he picked the mic back up, and in 2021. He dropped "Murda She Wrote" under Simply Phenomenal Recordings LLC. He started getting a buzz and in 2022 he left Simply Phenomenal Recordings LLC and signed to Stay Trill Records. His goal is to create his own company Gorilla Gang Music Group LLC. In 2022 he dropped Born A Mac and 2 singles called See You Later Alligator After While Crocodile and Gotta Go Hard.
