OGN (born Tim Jackson) was born and raised In Inkster, MI. Inkster very high crime area (only 5 miles away from the west side of Detroit.) OGN’s love for music started when he was a baby when his uncles would place headphones on him to stop him from crying. Now residing in Chicago Illinois, OGN has cultivated his sound into a unique body of work familiar across genres. He incorporates the blues to tell stories and paint mental pictures. He incorporates that Chicago sound through subtle tones of drill rap. Most importantly, OGN incorporates positive harmonious messages. OGN dropped his first project in 2007 with a form a group called Alter Ego and went on to release several other albums with several other groups as well. Notably, OGN released three mix tapes with the group L.N.L under the name NARCOTICS AMERICA,Disbanding by 2012, OGN decided to go solo and in 2014 released his 1st solo album titled Past Life Experience, followed by his 2016 album Smoking Mirrors album. After touring from 2013 to 2016 in New York, Atlanta, Memphis, Chicago, Ohio, etc, OGN nearly lost his life in 2017. While working at a plant as a stamping operator, a 40 ton die machine fell on him leaving him with all his bones broken on the left side of his body, forcing him to learn how to walk again. After going to therapy for over a year, in 2020 he got back to work. Since his recovery, OGN has created his EP called 777, the album Winter Waste, and Summer Break ep .
