Growing up in Northwest Arkansas, with limited opportunities and no male role model for guidance, Pooh Macc gravitated toward street life like many of his peers. Inspired by artists such as Mac, UGK, and 8Ball & MJG, writing lyrics and perfecting his flow kept him out of trouble. 
 Stylistically, Pooh Macc’s cool, calm and collected personality shines through in his flow, injecting laid back positive vibes that are as therapeutic to him as they are to the listeners. His lyrics detail his own experiences, including growing up in economic struggle, overcoming obstacles, and celebrating success. 
 Inspired by self reflection done during months of quarantine, Pooh Macc decided to seriously pursue his passion for music and began working on his long awaited mixtape, fittingly entitled Return of the Macc. He created Macc Life Entertainment to inspire and motivate those faced with obstacles similar to what he has endured. MACC stands for Make All Conversation Count, a motto the rapper lives by.
