HALFnHALF is an American band based in Los Angeles, California consisting of vocalist and drummer Daiela Simon-Seay from Los Angeles, California, vocalist and guitarist Malcolm Huss from Los Angeles, California, keyboardist and vocalist TAJ COVE from Denver, Colorado, and bassist Myles Anderson from Sacramento, California. Formed during the COVID-19 lockdown of 2020, HALFnHALF created music remotely and occasionally came together in person to write songs and play shows. While pursuing academic endeavors, the members of HALFnHALF moved to the east coast where they continue to make music in Boston, New York, and Rhode Island. Malcolm attends Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, where collaborations between HALFnHALF and other artists and producers such as Dylan Moran, Jackson Powell, and antransax were made. HALFnHALF creates music with musical elements of R&B, soul, hip-hop, pop, and jazz music. Their sound is inspired by artists such as The Internet, Phony Ppl, Smino , Jhené Aiko, and Mac Ayres.
