Accordeonist Junior Ferreira is a truly versatile Brazilian musician. Graduated in Music from the University of Brasília, he has been playing with major Brazilian artists in tours throughout Latin America, Africa and Europe. A refined virtuose of the accordeon, Ferreira honors the tradition of masters of the instrument such as Dominguinhos, Luis Gonzaga and Astor Piazzolla. His accordeon playing reflects the avant-garde originality of the Brazilian culture and breaks the barrier between classical and popular music.
