Hasan Meten was born in Istanbul in 1983 and discovered his passion for music by studying classical guitar at the age of 13. He started working at Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Music and Performing Arts. He continued his solo and chamber music studies under the guidance of Bülent Ergüden and Muzaffer Çorlu and completed them in 2011. Meten, who performed at various university festivals, exhibition openings and prestigious events throughout his career, took part in important organizations such as 2004 YTU Guitar Days and 2005 Bilkent Turkey Guitar Meeting. In 2010, he made a name for himself in the international arena as an active participant in the 18th Koblenz International Guitar Festival and had the opportunity to work with important names such as Lorenzo Micheli, Lucio Matarazzo and Michael Lewin. He also performed at the 2011 and 2012 Bilkent Türkiye Guitar Meetings. Meten, It was included in the album 'Meeting with the Guitar - Turkish Composers and Performers', which Known for his interest in different musical genres, Meten has expanded his musical experience by focusing on South American and jazz music in recent years.
