As a Los Angeles native, SHUMR has become a strong and powerful force in the music industry. 2013 marks the origin of SHUMR’s musical journey, at which time SHUMR began DJing at small events throughout the Los Angeles area. As time went on, partygoers began to notice SHUMR’s talent and creativity. As such, SHUMR went on to DJ at larger events and became a regularly booked DJ in Los Angeles. However, SHUMR was not satisfied with merely DJing at various events. SHUMR had larger passions. Specifically, SHUMR’s drive and creativity led to the start of his journey into music production. Ever since 2015, SHUMR has produced various songs, specifically in the house and techno genres. Some of SHUMR’s inspirations include Solomun, Chris Lake, Vintage Culture, Michael Bibi, Hot Since 82, Tchami, and Rüfüs Du Sol, among others. Ultimately, SHUMR’s overall goal when DJing and producing is to deepen people’s enjoyment for music in a meaningful and spiritual way.
