W.a.e gang ent was founded in 2018 when cmak and the co founder flame cane up the idea that we all eat together and try to shed light on the talent in seattle! 1,100 dollars later that same year cmak came out with his first hit single called Whoa sponsored by Lucid (auburn) recreational, Lyon Pride Music, club oasis, and Baltic room. The video was a success going on thizzler on the roof and being put on lil boosie facebook page. But what it did more importantly is got him seen by Sin Crawford the CEO of Family and friends ent who is an A&r and directly working thru The Orchard/ Sony. Cmak signed to them in 2019 and was signed as an artist and was eventually given a second contract to sign and distribute his own artists all over the United States and gets their music distributed to 240 different countries and over 50 stores. In 2021 with the help of Jimi Spendrixx and their group called The Northwest Fresh they have successfully signed over 16 artists so far and are helping artists to get paid for their music and become independent artists who own all of their rights to their music!
