Biography

Exploring uncharted territories of the Brazilian sound, Gabriel Moraes is taking on techno in a noticeably unique way, and the world is turning it’s head. Sitting somewhere between progressive, deep Berlin and a good measure of rave, the tone is catching on, eyes widen and ears prick up when the robust sound rumbles through. Gabriel’s unparalleled releases have been signed by a long list of exceptional labels from all over the world. Furthering his collaborations, his most recent creations have been remixed by the likes of KALIL, Jiggler and Victor Enzo. But Gabriel’s most impressive feat to date is surely “Die Holle” - Released in 2016 through Ukrainian imprint Dear Deer Records, the impressions left on the global scene were phenomenal. Played by Eric Prydz, Solomun, ANNA, D-nox, Coyu and a long list of many more of the world’s most influential techno acts, it became clear that people were recognizing this soaring act. Eric Prydz even vocalized his support for Die Holle and Gabriel in a radio interview. Die Holle is to be remixed by Dusty Kid, Citizen Kain and Channel X, releasing in late 2017. Performing at some of Brazil’s biggest venues and festivals in the respective sound, Gabriel is seen to be on a non-stop rise. Hugely successful sets at headlining Clash Club and Brazil’s famed D-Edge, all received thrilling responses, leading to a growing dedicated fan base and his signing to Brazil’s PlusNetwork Agency, alongside Victor Ruiz, ANNA and Gui Boratto.
