Matthew Goodman was raised on music, starting piano at just aged 3. Releasing his first record aged 18 as part of the group Crazybaldheads , the track 'Firstborn' became an instant classic in the UK garage scene. He then went on to work with a number of UK urban acts like So Solid Crew , Ms. Dynamite , Wiley as well as remixing for Justin Timberlake , Natasha Bedingfield and Slum Village. 
 In 2008 Matt brought Matti Roots into the world and his soul , jazz, rnb hybrid alter ego was born. His debut release Beatroot gained critical acclaim with support from BBC Radio 1 xtra, Radio 2, Radio 6, Jazz FM and DRS 1 Switzerland, MOBO and many more. The album featured contributions from Susaye Greene and some of the UK's finest session players including Leon King (Amy Winehouse) Vula (Basement Jaxx) , Ben Jones. 
 In 2016 , Matthew joined up with Audio Network to re release Beatroot. This led to the lead track Let's Get Back Together finding its way onto Spotify's Global Viral Chart and All Funked Up 
 Since then Matthew has created some of the most diverse and widely used music around. Harnessing his eclectic taste and abilities to create albums in a variety of styles such as New Vibes Two, Four, Six, Eight , Pool Party and Young And Wild. His music has been featured on everything from TV ads like Samsung, FIFA and Ray Ban to TV shows like Power and Brooklyn 99.
