Conz (real name Ian Weir) was born in 1984 and raised in Canton, Ohio. At the age of 11 he began playing the keyboard. Shortly after he began emceeing. Doing it as a hobby and something he loved to do, Conz began working on his craft professionally. At the age of 19 he began sharing his music on peer-to-peer networks such as Napster, Soulseek, etc. He started to gain some recognition and began sharing his work . Incorporating the skills of audio engineering later at the age of 24, Conz became a triple threat musically. Releasing numerous mixtapes, underground albums, and projects he produced for other artists, he has become a well-respected musician. At the age of 31, Conz officially released a project titled “The Album” which has received tons of great reviews and in his opinion is his favorite project that he has created. “The Album” is available on all digital music outlets. Presently Conz spends most of his time creating beats, engineering and mixing because he says, “that’s what I love to do. I kind of steered away from emceeing so much and started focusing more on the music because I like to be the guy behind the scenes and making it all come together. There’s nothing better than taking a small sound, building from it, and turning it into a masterpiece.”
