Blueface became a household name in less than a year after deciding he wanted to be a rapper. That was all due to his platinum single “Thotiana,” which was featured on his debut album Famous Cryp. The song quickly soared up streaming charts globally, amassing over 530M streams to date. Billboard called it one of the top 30 songs of 2019, while Pitchfork and The NY Times called Blueface one of the hottest artists to watch in 2019. The song peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, and saw remixes by YG & Cardi B. “Thotiana” landed Blueface on the cover of Fader Magazine and profiles in the LA Times & the NY Times. He then released the EP Dirt Bag, which featured “Stop Cappin ft. The Game’,” “Bussdown (feat. Offset),” & “Daddy (feat. Rich The Kid)”.
