Hailing from Exeter in the UK, Danny spent his formative years in the 1990s listening to hip-hop, UK and US garage, soul, rare groove and jazz-funk. Inspired by Todd Edwards' unique brand of cut-up sample house, Danny started dabbling in music production in the late 90s. Fast forward a decade, and Danny's tracks started causing a buzz among the UK Garage community – including Karl ‘Tuff Enuff’ Brown of Tuff Jam. Danny’s breakthrough came in 2011 with his remix of ‘Tell Me (If You Really Want Me)’ by DJ Para feat Robbie Craig for Scott Garcia’s Kronik Music, which attracted attention from UK Garage tastemakers such as DJ EZ. In 2012 Danny’s ‘Disco Lights’ remix of ‘Turn The Lights Down’ by Scott Diaz on his Connect:d imprint received love from DJs across the globe – including a certain Grant Nelson – which was followed later in the year by Danny’s first EP (Feel The Vibe) also on Connect:d, including the tracks ‘Feel The Spirit’ and ‘Feeling Love'. Danny has also produced remixes of Frenzy’s ‘Wandering Eye’, 8th Note’s ‘Cry For No-One’ and ‘Crazy’ by Leanne Louise for 42TF Recordings, plus remixes of Maydie Myles’ ‘You Got Me Forever’, Beat Rivals’ ‘(Gotta Be) Free’, Chunky Jackson’s ‘What You Do To Me’ and Fully Loaded Project’s ‘Roll With It’ for 2TUF4U Records. In 2019 Danny’s remix of ‘Stranger’ for Kindred Soul was released on Pogo House Records and received radio play from Todd Edwards himself, bringing Danny’s musical journey full circle.
